Carl Reed, President
Abbott Workholding Products is a reflection of its chief executive, Carl Reed, who purchased the company in 1990. Reed is an industrial technology graduate of Arizona State University and a former naval aviator and commanding officer. He has over 35 years of engineering, sales, marketing and senior management experience in the aerospace and manufacturing industries.
Doug Reed, Sales Manager
Doug rejoined the Abbott team in early 2004. Previously, he worked for Abbott in the shipping/receiving and warehouse management departments for 4 years, before moving to Portland, Oregon for school. There, Doug attended Lewis & Clark College where he received a Bachelor‘s of Arts degree in Physics. After graduating in 2001, he worked in the medical equipment industry, operating state of the art surgical equipment while working closely with doctors during surgical procedures. Dave Davis, Materiel / Purchasing Manager
Dave Davis joined the Abbott Workholding Products team in 1996 as the Production Control manager, with responsibilities in purchasing, production scheduling and inventory/warehouse control. Dave attended Kansas State University with a focus in human resource and business management.
Criss Mayfield, Director of Administration
Criss Mayfield has been with Abbott Workholding Products since 1993. Criss earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanized Agriculture from California State Polytechnic College in San Luis Obispo, CA. He is also a retired Captain for the US Naval Air Reserve. Criss has 20 plus years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Criss manages Abbott’s human resources, training, safety and community affairs and supports the sales department and inventory control when needed. Joyce Graham, Office Manager
Joyce came on board with Abbott in 1996 as Bookkeeper. In 1997 she became Abbott’s Transportation Coordinator and in 2000, Office Manager. She came to Abbott with 17 years of experience working for a petroleum marketer. Joyce is also a graduate of business school with an emphasis in accounting. Amy Reed, Sales / Marketing & Executive Assistant
Amy has been with Abbott since 2004. Her responsibilities include marketing and advertising for Abbott as well as sales support when needed. She attended Miles Community College in Miles City, MT, where she received her Associate’s degree. Previously, she worked for KPMG LLP in both Billings, MT and Portland, OR for five years. After leaving KPMG, she worked as an Accounts Manager for Orthopaedic Consultants, an Independent Medical Exam company. Ranata Long, Sales / Customer Service
Ranata Long has been a valued Abbott team member since 2004. She has an extensive background in customer service, which enables her to assist customers with various requests in a friendly, timely and accurate manner. Prior to Abbott, Ranata received a diploma in Graphic Arts. Ralf Mauthe, Manufacturing Manager
Ralf joined Abbott in 2006. Previously, he was the plant manager for Abbott’s subsidiary, Precision Grinding, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. Ralf received his management degree in 1989 from Glendale Community College. He is a former Coast Guard air crewman, flight engineer and aviation mechanic and has worked in the machining industry since 1979. Ralf’s education and experience is in manufacturing production, quality assurance and management. Mike Gober, Production Control Manager
Mike joined Abbott in 2006 after working at Abbott’s Phoenix subsidiary, Precision Grinding, Inc. for 6 years as the Quality Assurance Manager. Mike has an education and solid working background in quality assurance and management, having worked in the aerospace and commercial machining field since 1982. Mike also brings to Abbott a substantial amount of experience in machine shop operation. Neil Hackborn, Sales / Customer Service
After previously working in the shipping department for Abbott, Neil recently rejoined the team. Beforehand, he earned his Associate of Science in Pre-Engineering in 1999 from Crowder College in Neosho, MO. Then in 2002 he received his BSBA in Finance and Economics from Missouri Southern State University. Afterward, while gaining manufacturing experience, he worked for Owens Corning and from there he spent a short time with Chrysler Financial in Kansas City, MO. |
